Evelyn N. Howard-Hand graduated from the University of Texas School of Law in 1982 after receiving her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education and Deaf Education from Flagler College.  Prior to attending law school she taught students aged 3 - 21 with multiple disabilities.  She has also taught auditory impaired students of all levels and American Sign Language as a foreign language to hearing students.  Prior to joining our firm, she practiced commercial litigation and special education law for several years.  Ms. Howard-Hand has served on the Board of Trustees of the Lake Travis Independent School District and is a member of the State Bar of Texas School Law Section and the Travis County Bar Association where she served as Chair of the Judicial Affairs Committee.  She is admitted to practice by the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern and Western Districts of Texas.
