D. Craig Wood is a 1989 graduate of the University of Texas Law School.  Since graduating from law school, Mr. Wood has represented school districts on a daily basis in all areas of school law including risk management, employment disputes, student discipline, personnel matters, elections and voting rights, special education, construction contracts, real estate, civil rights and other constitutional claims, and other litigation involving the potential liability of school districts, board members and administrators.  Mr. Wood has conducted hundreds of in-service presentations on topics including: student discipline, searches, use of drug dogs and magnetometers, special education, dealing with law enforcement agencies and subpoenas, reporting child abuse, custodial rights, confidentiality of student records, DNR orders, educator liability, employment issues, student and parent rights, attendance, giving testimony, and other school law issues.  Mr. Wood is licensed to practice in all state courts, the Western District of Texas, and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.  Mr. Wood works in the San Antonio office of the firm.
